It's that time of year again!
Every year without fail, I get asked the same question. How do I stay fit and lean over the holidays?
I'm happy to report that it's super simple. Christmas is one day. You aren't suddenly going to undo all your hard work as the result of one day of overindulgence. All that will happen if you eat too much turkey is you will feel quite uncomfortable for the rest of the evening and probably the next day.
The concern arises when December turns into a month of gluttony. This does not have to be the case! Enjoy yourselves, treat yourselves, but don't overindulge for prolonged periods and throw your success off course. Your body has become used to being well treated, so let's keep it that way. Continue to exercise over the holidays, remembering that all you need is 24 mins of HIIT 3 times a week - that's an hour and 12 mins out of a whole week. You'll feel better for it, trust me!
