ABOUT:

AFTER FOUR YEARS OF TRAINING, I GRADUATED AS A PROFESSIONAL DANCER FROM LIPA IN 2011, PAUL MCCARTNEY'S ESTEEMED LIVERPOOL INSTITUTE FOR PERFORMING ARTS, AND CONTINUED ON TO WORK AS A DANCER IN LONDON.

PARALLEL TO DANCE, I WENT ON TO QUALIFY AS A PERSONAL TRAINER.

IN 2012 I CREATED TOME LEVI PERFORMANCE COACHING & PT, RUNNING ADJACENT TO BEING THE FIRST WOMEN'S FITNESS AND PERFORMANCE COACH FOR 3 YEARS AT THE ROYAL BALLET SCHOOL.

MY ETHOS IS TO PROMOTE OPTIMAL PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE.

PERFORMANCE COACHING

 

I WORK WITH DANCERS AND PERFORMERS TO ACHIEVE OPTIMAL PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE THROUGH AN INJURY PREVENTION APPROACH.

REPETITIVE STRAIN INJURIES (RSI) ARE A REALITY FOR MANY DURING THE REHEARSAL AND PRODUCTION PROCESS, BUT THE LIKELIHOOD OF THIS CAN BE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED THROUGH EFFECTIVE PRACTICE.

I WORK WITH INDIVIDUALS AND CASTS, TAILORING SESSIONS TO COUNTERBALANCE THE PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF STAGED MOVEMENT CHOREOGRAPHY, THEREFORE OPTIMISING THE EXECUTION OF BOTH.

LOCATION IS SUBJECT TO CLIENT PREFERENCE. WHILE SOME CLIENTS PREFER TO TRAIN AT HOME, OFFICE OR PRIVATE STUDIO, OTHERS CHOOSE THE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE.

EACH SESSION IS TAILORED TO THE CLIENTS NEEDS AND PERSONAL PERFORMANCE GOALS.

MY MESSAGE TO CLIENTS IS ALL ABOUT EATING WELL, FUELLING YOUR BODY AND ABOVE ALL ENJOYING A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD.

I DO NOT CONDONE FAD DIETS OR RESTRICTIVE CALORIFIC INTAKE, NOR DO I SUPPORT THE ELIMINATION OR DEMONISATION OF NUTRIENTS AND FOOD GROUPS. IN A PSEUDOSCIENTIFIC WORLD THAT PERCEIVES GLUTEN AS EVIL AND AVOCADO AS KING, IT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER NOT TO ALLOW MEDIA DRIVEN NUTRITIONAL TRENDS TO DETERMINE HOW WE EAT. I BELIEVE THAT FOOD HOLDS NO MORAL VALUE, THEREFORE I ENCOURAGE THE ELIMINATION OF WORDS SUCH AS "GUILT-FREE" OR "CHEAT MEAL" WITHIN A CLIENT'S VOCABULARY.

CLIENTS THAT WISH TO COORDINATE THEIR TRAINING WITH PERSONALISED NUTRITIONAL ADVICE TO OPTIMISE PERFORMANCE WILL BE REFERRED TO REGISTERED NUTRITIONISTS/DIETICIANS AS APPROPRIATE.
